Engaging Girls in Science Technology Engineering & Math (STEM)

The California Academy of Sciences is pleased to present a one-day workshop at the California Science Center in Los Angeles, California to help build your capacity to develop and deliver STEM programming and exhibits that are attractive, relevant and impactful to girls. Workshop participants can expect to increase their awareness of the importance of gender equity and cultural competency in STEM programming and exhibit development strategies. Participants will also get hands-on experience in using tools to assess the effectiveness of programs and exhibits for relevance across gender, race, ethnicity and other dimensions of diversity.
